India then & India now

India 'was' a country rich in those precious stones which made Her known as the GOLDEN BIRD. India had a glorious past, we all know, with who every other country wanted to trade with! For this very reason was an ocean, out of total seven, named after a country. No other country in the world has a ocean named after it :D That was a time everyone was after us. But as our ancestors were very innocent, they fell easy prey to the foreign powers. BUT..!.. When no one could imagine or when everyone thought that India will always remain under the colonial powers, the time when we were completely powerless & armless!!.. SOMETHING HAPPENED..(kuch to chamka).. the brave hands (or the freedom fighters as we know them) realised their power & snatched away their freedom back!
AAANNDDD..D.... Somehow we won a totally lost game :)
For a country like India it was not a tough play.. because the values grounded in the people & the kind of intellect they had was unmatched.

During the course of time, we have ended up in totally differen scene in India. The country, once famous as the "golden bird" is now upset with Danny Boyle for showcasing the real but bad picture of India in his oscar winning movie. Corruption, misuse of power, no-use of power(:D)... all had made India what it is right now! And please, the people in power are not the ones only to be blamed.. Each one of us is helping to make India worse. Me too!
Just watch our daily actions.. most of ours' dad are not paying the tax and we know that!
99.99% of Indian population doesnt mind throwing waste around. Though while reading this you might think you are in the .01% but you are not!!
Most of us have this attitude "India mein sab chalta h!" & only this attitude had made many illegal things to come under "our definition" of legal things.. Let me give you a classic example of this one.. How many of you got your driving licence fairly? without bribing? Or even tried once getting it the legal way?
Most of us have seen our parents driving the wrong side, jumping the red lights when they are late.. and now doing this, doesnt seem wrong to us. Even while reading this you must be thinking that how in the world is jumping the lights related to the corruption & poverty in India! What is related is the ATTITUDE we keep! And that has made the whole difference..

Love & peace!
